Danger of Internet Dating Meet Up
Meeting people on the online dating site should be aware of stranger. Women are being warned to take care when meet up or eyeball of your chatter on the web. Internet dating site is the target from the strangers.
“Attacks from first time meetings through internet dating are increasing”, said The Auckland Sexual Abuse Help Foundation. A lot of women reported in the area that they attacked from strangers they met in that day. The women doesn’t know anything the people they are chatting to in their internet dates. Crisis Services Manager Kate Brady Kean says “By removing their usual defences women are leaving themselves open to assault”.
The women told to The Auckland Sexual Abuse Help Foundation that they have known the man for just hours or weeks. But really they have just physically met that evening. The woman says “I can’t believe he did this, he seemed like such a nice person, that’s my first impression”. Ms Brady Kean advice for the people who join in dating site, when you found your intimate relationship through internet dating site you should tend to feel to know the person you are meeting and observe they are showing their trust. When meeting someone through internet dating you should bring some friend or friends because you don’t know yet the person for eyeball.
The foundation is calling for more research into the impacts of internet dating to determine whether there are more people taking part, and whether women’s usual defences are not as prevalent when internet dating.
There is also a reported increase in the numbers of women abused or assaulted by someone known to them, in their own home.
